About The Roaches

"There are moments when it's hard to believe you're not watching the Beatles."
Creative Loafing - Atlanta

"Their huge throng of fans is totally incredible"
JJ Jackson - Fox 97 Radio, Atlanta

THE ROACHES are one of the most authentic and energetic Beatles tribute bands in the world. You'll have to remind yourself what year it is and where you are! These young men, all in their early twenties, are the same approximate ages as John, Paul, George and Ringo were at the time they were touring the world in the midst of Beatlemania! And like the young Beatles, THE ROACHES have the same drive, energy and excitement!

The boys feature authentic vintage instruments, haircuts, and custom made clothes and boots. To be true to the original Fab Four, THE ROACHES derive their set list from a specific part of the Beatles catalog, they perform primarily material that the Beatles played in the live concert setting. This long and wonderful list of songs spans material from the early cover songs they played at Liverpool's Cavern Club to Lennon-McCartney numbers performed on the last Beatles tour of America in 1966.

Their touring takes them to festivals, college campuses, corporate events, benefits and private functions from Georgia to Texas and New York to Florida. A few of THE ROACHES' performance credits include The Fox 97 Ultimate Oldies Concert, Peachtree Road Race, First Night Athens, Peachtree Morning TV Show, Good Day Atlanta TV show, 1996 & 1997 Atlanta Fab Four Fests, Malco Theater in Hot Springs AR, Columbia, SC Mayfest, CNN, Fox 97 Radio Morning Show & Afternoon Love Fest, Campus Live TV show, New Orleans Casino's as well as hundreds of other private and corporate events. THE ROACHES are a particularly big smash at college campuses where fraternities and sororities are lining up to book them.

On May 16th 1998 THE ROACHES performed for over 40,000 music fans at The Ninth Annual Fox 97 Ultimate Oldies Concert in the Georgia Dome. In 1999 they were asked back for the 10th Anniversary! Also on the bill for these shows were Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Rivers, Tommy James and other rock and roll legends. Out of 11 established performers, Fox 97 listeners voted THE ROACHES one of their two favorite acts! In the July 4th 1998 "Roach-a-thon", the band played at the finish line of the world-renowned Peachtree Road Race, followed by a show in Marietta, GA, and closing the holiday at Lenox Square's Star Spangled Night, the south's largest fireworks display, for a total audience of over 400,000!
